Because fact is its what I think not what someone else wants to hear. I think the ugliness stems from the fact that some opinionated people are hurtful, hateful and down right mean due to the fact that there is something about themselves that they have a problem with or just don't like.Watcha You Thinkin Abouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04981017392469530021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36636144.post-29462709522418657822010-08-20T11:38:15.397-05:002010-08-20T11:38:15.397-05:00Tasha, you are so spot on with this. Sometimes it's best to feel people out b/f rushing off to dispense an opinion or advice. Sure, anyone can mean well, but that does not mean that it's appropriate always, or wanted and warrented as you mentioned. I think the really big issue for me is that I just hate all the negative stuff. I mean it can be really off-the-wall and out there and off-putting. How did people get so pessimistic and vicious? And why even go there? It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I read such comments about an political article or YT video or human interest story. Just so much ugliness...tsc0809https://www.blogger.com/profile/15675348324210727179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36636144.post-18364495661481362292010-08-19T10:29:38.521-05:002010-08-19T10:29:38.521-05:00I so hear you on this great opinion of yours. This...I so hear you on this great opinion of yours. This is my opinion too but I think some that seem to always have to comment in some type of negative way, tend to believe that they are giving "Advice that wasn't asked for. Its like this need for them to give this advice even though it wasn't warranted nor asked for. Its like they have this need to always feel right in their opinions. Yes freedom of speech can be throw out there like a dollar bill thrown at a stripper but the difference is one was a freedom given to you by the government to say what you want but not always when you want to, and one is a choice on both parts. You decide to throw the money at the stripper and they decide to take it. When it comes to opinions you can throw your opinion at someone but they don't always want it or need it. So instead of being so opinionated maybe one should just stand back and see if the person wants it or needs it, before you (the opinionated one) start dishing out the opinions. (This of course is my opinion.)Watcha You Thinkin Abouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04981017392469530021noreply@blogger.com
